    That's because the highest weapon right now is 345. I guarantee 5 item levels won't make up for 16 tier 6 materia.

    Well, when 350 gear is equipped and synced to 345, the main stat increase on each piece should compensate it along with the added vitality for some more hp, which allows more room for mistakes.
