Question about Praetorium/CM change to SE

If no one in the party is new, will the cutscenes remain unskippable?

I don't mind it if someone is actually new (well I do, but if the reward is really increased like it says I might get over it. I'm reserving judgment until I find out how much more exp I'm getting), but if we've all done it before this shouldn't be a requirement (and the rewards would go back to normal).

Can you please confirm whether this will be skippable if no one is new.

Knowing SE, it's probably going to be unskippable regardless of if there is a new player in the instance or not. If they were skippable without a newbie in there, there's potential for players to just kick the new person so they can continue to speed-run sans cutscenes. Sad, but true...of at least a portion of the playerbase (not all people are twats but some are).

Unless the bosses are gated until the new player leaves the cutscenes, people will still attempt to speed run after quickly tabbing through the cutscenes as much as possible. They'll be annoyed, but will still do it.

They'd better put auto-enable auto-scroll in those cutscenes when 4.2 comes. It's not like people are going to remember to turn them on/off manually in the Character Configuration settings.

If SE wanted to kill those 2 dungeons, they sure came up with the best idea.
Seirously, who would run those already tedious dungeons unless you are a new player? How long are the queues gonna be? Prepare for 2 hours DPS queues and 30 minutes tank/healer ques for prae and CM.

The reward isn't worth the time it takes to complete it now. Those of you who complained about not being able to watch the cutscene, thank you. I can see the queues for this taking longer as the number of people queueing will decrease. Its not worth the time. SE messed up with this. You could literally have a free ride throughout the dungeon or just watch the cutscene later...

As it currently stands, getting 200 poetics at lvl 70 for Main Scenario Roulette is just bad. I've been sitting at 2k poetics for probably about a year or so now. Without being able to skip the cutscenes, it really is not a good time investment, especially when every other roulette (bar guildhests because lolguildhest) gives lvl 70 appropriate rewards. Also gil doesn't really count as a reward because it is laughably easy to get gil just off your standard tomestone roulettes.

It needs to gives players a reason to go back, and it just doesn't at this point in time.

Can’t wait for all the que time complaint threads now. I won’t be doing them again, way too long now. I can watch the cutscenes without running the dungeons if I really want to see them again.
