to hard to lvl on steel and mythril(fix suggestion)

If you need bomb ash, theres a ton of Drifting Duds NW from Camp Horizon, I want to say they're in the (8,24) and (9,24) area.

I was farming them on my 36 PGL and they were dying incredibly fast. They drop up to 4 ash at once, I got about 110 ash In around 40 min.

I agree with you on the Mythril drop rate though.

thanks for the tip, and for the bomb ash the main prob is it takes extra work which makes extra cost. these extra cost in the low lvl recipes makes it hard to produce low lvl equipment at a fair price when you could easily produce higher lvl equipment easier for a higher profit.

Then the real solution would be to increase the difficulty of obtaining the higher level material.

well being that mythril drop rate is 1 are you saying that cobalt drop rate shuold be 0.

Yes let's screw over people unrelated to the problem by making things universally more of a pain in the ass for everyone.

I get what you mean now OP, although I personally don't think it's that big of a deal since it drops so readily. It would be nice if they got rid of at least one of the areas that drops Alumen and make it drop the ash instead.

i will farm some ash to lvl my bls, but as far as making low lvl gears to sell i would never bother farming ash when i can farm cobalt way faster and make more gil from it. If i ever farmed ash it would be to sell for the 3-4k that it sells for(or for lvling). It seems as though any mats taht are farmed via mobs tend to cost more then mats that are farmed via doh. Even mythril with its horrid drop rate are cheaper then bomb ash. My prob is that this is for low lvl gear and will always drive the price up. With the new stat mechanics people need to have their lvl appropriate gear now.

i do like your idea of adding it to mining though, id like to see it sold at the arm/bls guild though. even if it was 1000 gil it would set the price for the wards.

take me less 1hour to get 2+stacks on my conj 50 AOE everything. I don't see a issue i found other ways to skip both cobalt and mythril and right now i'm 2level from 50 ARM.

Btw i skip it and all i used was iron ore the only issue i find is the amount of Shards you use up level up but seeing how i don't use my money for anything else it was not that hard on my money.

So at the end there no point in this it's pretty easy to find other way to skip both mythril and cobalt and still level up quick if you don't believe me look at my history. So what i'm trying to say is there no need to make it more easy for RMT and people level up when it easy right now.
