4.2 Housing Update

Ok I think that's all of it. Let me know if I missed something. I'm really surprised they gave out information on the housing purchase changes beforehand. This is going to put the housing markets into a flurry up until patch day. Plots being available for relocation immediately after demo is still going to allow people to snipe premium plots to sell for relocation.

So that first horrible resolution picture (sorry!) with all the furniture on it, it looks like:
weird pickle cart
baguette basket
new fruit/veggie/something basket
new booze bottles?
moogle wall clock
faux brick patch (hopefully one long enough to go across an entire partition, if it's just that small square that's going to eat up precious slots!)
new floor lamp
new housing npcs
new chandelier
glowing floaty light things?

Can't really make out much more in that one. The second one just looks like new floor beds, a new fish tank and a new wall decoration.

On top of what you've already mentioned, I think I saw a snake NPC and what appears to be a half-sized mannequin (by the window)? I tried my best to examine the brick patch, I think it's a square-shaped wall mount with a length of 1 full partition and can be clipped into stuff. Reason being the overlapping just seems too perfect if there's more than one of them put side-by-side. The glowing-floating thing may also be dyeable, seeing how both of them are of different colors.

The wall mount in the final picture appears to be Japanese Oni Mask (within a frame, why designer??)

Love the furniture competition winner's idea being utilized, but I kind of think the slot for bomb stove should had been given to other designs instead. Just my personal opinion though.

And finally... NEW PARTITION THAT ALSO EXTEND DOWNWARDS FROM THE CEILING! PRAISE THE TWELVE AND THE DESIGNER WHO CAME UP WITH IT! THANK YOU!! :3

...now if only we can get it in all 4 town + blank partition version of it as well.

Maybe it is a mannequin! Possibly a pre-built too for something like a clothing shop decor. I was squinting to make out details, but those do appear to be headless.

edit: Went back to the video to check it out and he specifically pointed at them in the picture and said something. Where are those futuristic auto-translation modules from all the sci-fi shows when you need them?!

Way back they promised us armor displays. I wonder if that's it. But even if it's not, it would be great for a sewing room/tailor shop setup. I want more things for a shoppy kinda vibe.

I would hope for something that shows a full glamour set if that was the case, but we get what we get. If anyone happens to speak Japanese it's right about here that he points towards them and says something.

Isn't this the release that allows us to display weapons? I wonder if it is a way to display armor/gear to go along with that.

As far as I recall they only said they were working on mannequins/weapon displays for sometime during this expansion, but no specific patch has been mentioned (or translated at least). Now that you mention the weapons though... is that a shelving unit next to those garment displays or a weapon display rack?

It sure looks like it could be a weapon display to me. It would be nice to get a translation.
