Re: leveling things you don't play for the sake of story. I have that with both DRK and SCH and actually most melees. Still worth it.

Most likely because the things Myste conjured remained true to how people remembered them, and Hauchy would sooner die again than fight us unless it was for a really good cause, nothing Myste had up his sleeve at the time. A lot of our regrets would've been in a similar position (Moen, Ysayle). Then you have Ilbert, whose death mostly had to do with regretting its outcome than his actual death. No shortage of will to kill us once conjured thought.

Uh. Not sure how it was in other languages but

they didn't just go back home. They didn't have the energy. Fighting you and then being teleported to the aetherial sea drained the last of the light they had in their crystal. They got to die knowing Hydaelyn was looking after their world, but they still died.

To be fair, already dead and all that, but...

I still feel like that shouldn't be the sort of thing the WoL would be regretting. You basically helped a group of people who basically had no hope and were more or less on borrowed time as it was, and gave them hope for their world. Yes, you had to fight to do so, but in what way would you regret that? It just makes no sense to me.

I've also enjoyed WAR, and BRD, for me personally, was unexpectedly good!


And almost all of the disciples of hand are great too, though I can only speak for ARM and BSM.

Alchemist to 50 was wonderful. It sounds like I need to pick it back up and see what Severian is up to now.

Blacksmith to 50 was good too. When the Admiral "tested" our plate...!

SMN and SCH were just typical boilerplate; I didn't get emotional for them. Prin is funny at times, but the jokes are one-shots without any staying power.

For me,its the DRK that easily win,seeing all people we killed,as its was always haunting our caractere. definitly the best

I have to say the ALC 60-70 quest is by far my favorite.

DoW/DoM: I enjoyed many of them for SB, but my favourite one was SMN's; I love lore dense quests. DRK's was great, too. RDM's and BLM's were very interesting and so was SCH's to a degree (but the spelling mistakes were annoying!) While not fantastic, I think BRD's had some good information, too.

DoH/DoL: Alchemist! Even if you're not into crafting it's worth leveling ALC for the quests alone (the HW ones are great, too.)

Fighting an evil version of myself was just too intense.
