As a healer i love tanks that make big pulls, gives me something to do other than Regen and makes the dungeon go a lot faster. I hate slow tanks.

Tanks should definitely at least take a look at the gear of the dps and healer at the start if you plan on pulling big groups. Also, it never hurts to just ask. But I will say that I find dungeons incredibly boring if the tank isn't pulling big groups (its more exciting and I main a healer). But that is no excuse to force it. A little bit of common courtesy goes a long way these days.
It also feels good as a tank or healer not having to worry about being kicked. The queues are short enough that it doesn't really matter. Never feel bad about wanting out of a bad dungeon run. This game is exactly that, a game. If you are not having fun, request to be kicked and try again. Or simply just leave, take the penalty, and watch a half hour of YouTube, Netflix, etc. Or take a walk, enjoy life, etc.
BLM in group = big pulls please.![]()
WHMs work best with big pulls. You cripple their potential if you pull small.
For me it all depends on the tank & DPS. If the tank is squishy or the DPS are bad, they're better off doing smaller pulls (Especially the tanks that concentrate on a single target when the group wants to AoE). If DPS is decent and tank is competent, I'd rather have them do bigger pulls. The more stuff all that free (literally) Holy spam hits the better.
Main reason gave up playing healer anymore. Use to main a healer but got tired of these super tanks and there huge pulls. Then when can't keep them healed because of them you get kicked.
TL;DR: "I'm going to ejukate you about super tanks. And why you should do something about them. they are greefers"
There's nothing wrong with tanks doing this. Get over it. If the party can't handle it, the tank adjusts. If it's an issue of cussing someone out, that's not just a tank only thing. That's an anyone thing.
If you want to control how we all play in dungeons run with your friends only and leave the rest of us alone.
Thanks, bye.
I've never had anyone crying to me about pulling too big. Thank god the forums are a tiny portion of the actual playerbase

I don't think that super pulls are a problem, if the party can handle it. In fact, sometimes I'm the one who tells the tank he can pull bigger and I got his back (Nature's Minne + Palisade + Refresh if the healer is MP low). Really everybody has to just be paying attention rather than sleep walking through one mini pull at a time.
I think if you're gonna make a huge pull either ask healer or notify them to get ready for it.
It only takes a few seconds to do this rather than the time wasted wiping with a healer thats unprepared or not able to cope and then respawning and going back to spot.
