*Still waiting for the 'you should get gud' response*

I'm actually suprised by all the calm, non-angry responses in this thread. Once upon a time (*cough* last expac *cough*) a post like this would be filled with toxic posturing on how wall-to-wall pulls is the norm and everyone who can't (or just doesn't) do this is trash. This was back when tanks had a DPS stance and if you weren't in it 99% of the time, you were again, trash. To the point of expecting the rest of the group to manage their own enmity, along with optimized dps output--no matter the role.

Now you see where this attitude stems from. I see it a lot less now because the roles have been restructured to not be flavor dps like people were using them as. But it will likely be a while before it dies down in earnest.

My stance has always been that Tank directs the flow of the duty--not to their whims, but to the strength and weaknesses of their team. I'm glad to see there are like-minded individuals out there that aren't being repressed by popular opinion (read:Meta). Good to see you all. *waves*

The kind normal to at least some 20% of parties when the dungeon came out and everyone had minimum gear for it and normal to all but 20% of players by the time the content was outgeared, it seems. Also known as the long-famous "Wall-to-wall" pull.

I wall to wall pull in everything, BUT I'll also use ALL of my CDs (arms length included). If after all CDs and what not, we still wipe, I'll do small pulls the rest of the dungeon. If it didnt work when I had everything going, why would it work differently if I tried that again.

I hate tanks that do that. Often times the healer made one mistake or hit a bad lag spike and boom the whole party's cursed to baby pulls for the rest of the duty.

I don't think that's a good way to go about it. I would ask the healer if I should pull smaller at the very least.
You may have wiped for a myriad of reason, some of them having nothing to do with the healer not being able to handle big pulls. I had wipes on triple pulls I usually easily heal because I fat fingered a skill, forgot to lock my bars and switched skills or accidentally canceling a cast instead of slidecasting out of an aoe.
Even if the healer didn't get everything right, if they are confident enough that next time they know how to handle things, I'd say give them the chance. If the whole party agrees that they'd rather have baby pulls for the rest of the dungeon over the small risk of wiping again, then that's that.
But usually most people prefer to stick to bigger pulls even if the first pull didn't go as planned.

From my experience, tanks double or triple-pull all the time. The way SE designs the routes, double pulls are more natural and common than single-pulls.
Triple pulls and even quadruple pulls are possible with some cooldowns and maybe a LB to clear the mobs quickly.

So I'm assuming the problem is mostly in levelling dungeons where an undergeared tank and healer are trying to double/triple pull according to their experience from higher level content?
Honestly, having one or even two wipes from mobs shouldn't be indicator of a bad run, as long as tank and healer acknowledge it. I'm not sure what are these inhuman super-pulls you speak of.
