Would you prefer a new race or a new job?

Given how many races are essentially just Miqo'te sans ears, I really just want another job. Particularly a healer or tank.

I would prefer they put some time into looks of the gear and not have it so ugly all the time. From ilvl 230 gear on been so ugly like they spent no time on looks of it. Only new gear liked so far is from shisui of the violet tides.

A magitek-based tank and non-DoM healer are what I'd want ideally.

Opinions aside, a new job is much easier to add than a new race in regards to lore. Best case scenario: a new race that just suddenly appeared is explained off by coming from some previously unknown land, or is some new mutation of existing races. New job though? Easy as saying someone took the time to discover, harness, and properly develop their mastery of said job. Red Mage is a pretty good example of this, because of a certain NPC we all know...

Agreed. At least if they gave all the existing races a respectable array of new faces, hair, misc. accents, etc then I think everyone would be at least pleased that they got something for their character.
