Short answer is "no". We should all have the same chance to experience/clear content as anyone else. It sucks to be with someone who never reads a guide or even patch notes. Also all rankings would do is breed a toxic community of "Your in *rank here*, your opinion doesn't matter". Overwatch and League of Legends has this very issue.

Yep, that's something we don't want nor need in this community.

Any sort of system in place like this would absolutely *have* to be completely hidden and apply to Expert only.

Even as a non Mentor, I still feel that there is a mild obligation on high end players to help bring the fresh blood up through the ranks, be it via farming 'trivial' content for tokens or relics or helping carry the burden in trials and 24man stuff. Expert roulette is kind of unique in that you can't really fail it, the difference between a top tier and bottom rung group is about 10 minutes of your time and little else.

If poor players only ever got matched with poor players for storyline stuff and then none of them were able to clear anything, then they'd quit the game and SE would lose sub money.

Would your opinion be any different if this idea was only applied to Expert?
