ARR/Heavensward Fishing RNG could use a nerf.

The best way I can describe fishing's RNG is this.

I know someone who was doing lucis weapons for all 3 of his gatherers. Sure he had to get gear good enough for the unspoiled nodes (and at the time he didn't have SB/HW bought, only ARR).
Miner unspoiled nodes? Done, fairly easily. Lucis acquired in like a week.
Botanist unspoiled nodes? Done, fairly easily. Lucis acquired in like a week.
Now for fisher you have to catch a big fish.
Got the gear, had a hard time. Got SB expansion, raised level to get even better gear, tried again. Still nothing. He was at it for days, he did the research on when and how to catch said fish and all of that. Nope. Gave up for a while, came back to it.
It has now been a few months, still hasn't gotten the Lucis fish despite being well above the stats to catch it.

That is the power of RNG that affects fishing but doesn't affect miner/botanist. The other 2 gatherers can up gear to overcome difficulties, but fisher is still reliant on a secondary RNG.
I get that people did it in the past, and I'm glad they were able to succeed, but fisher is definitely more unfair because of that extra RNG and the ARR ones somehow feel like the unfairest RNG of them all.

They've nerfed the supra/lucis tools. You can buy all 3 tools directly from calamity salvager if you've done at least 1 tool.

Didn't know that, but I hardly see how having a way to just buy it outright is somehow relevant to the point about catching that fish.

It still doesn't change that he still has yet to catch that fish, which is also used to complete the fishing log. By contrast it's a lot easier to finish getting all the checkmarks for miner/botanist, especially with higher level gear.

There's also another fish, not related to any weapons, just for the sake of completion, he has yet to get from ARR despite spending a lot of time trying to get it but the RNG catch rate is so bad and the windows being so small because of time/weather just make matters worse, but I can assure you he's gotten all of the miner/botanist ARR items with ease.
