What Felis said... everything in the Calamity Salvager/Recompense Officer is based on achievements as that's how it knows if you're eligible to get something from them.

The gear you're describing doesn't have any achievement attached to it so no way for them to know if you previously had it. It'd also be really weird for them to put an achievement in now for HW gear that most people moved on from.

And even if they did... you'd have to get the gear again to actually unlock the achievement so it wouldn't help you anyway, except for repeat purchases later.

Actually with the changes to the job quests with SB they are attached to an achievement. All level 60 job quests ((except SAM and RDM obviously)) reward a chest of AF2 gear. That said centurio seals really are painfully easy to get and can easily get yourself a full dyeable set of AF2 gear with minimal work.

They are still obtainable outside of the jobquests.
Same with the AF1 and ilevel 90 AF. The first one is obtainable from the calamity vendor, the second one not. Even after it got added to the jobquests as a reward with HW.

I just want to be able to storage my Augmented relic gear

Maybe if they remove it from the crafter recipes and give it to a NPC and change it that you can obtain it only one time or that it give you an achievement if you wear a full set.
