Not necessarily. I saved up for a few weeks (between 3-4), and ended up paying someone 2M gil to relinquish a small on Exodus (medium server), then bought the lot for 3.6M. You just have to keep an eye on the market.

It's against the TOS to buy houses from players. If you've read it you'd know it's against the rules so i'm surprised you even have your account.

3mil for a medium?? Mediums are about 20mil from the game.. oh man. I don't think you were scammed at all that guy did you a favor.

On Balmung we pay 100mil for someone to relinquish a medium, then we pay 20mil to the game.

3 million for a scam? gee that money is easy to make in a few days... but it is the buyers fault too, SE allows it but doesn't get inbetween what happens unless they think it's a sale for real money. Good luck getting a house when wards open up!
