Started on Famfrit, switched to Siren to join a personal friend in the FC that he's with. I've since started my own little quiet FC. Siren wasn't too bad, though it's definitely quiet due to patch lull. I like it because the content I usually go for, I can easily find in the PF. Sadly, I don't see many Siren raiders - a huge chunk of them seem to just hang out in Limsa and go AFK. Though I will say, I miss the excitement when the hunting linkshell I'm in, the largest on our server, engaged in a war over practically every hunt after Stormblood's release with a large FC.
It was interesting - the hunters vs that FC to see who could could claim whatever S/A rank was discovered before the other party found out.

I'm on Diabolos and there is an abundance of dank Mean Girls level drama among most of the long-time players I know. Especially with high-end crafting and people who like to hang out in a set public place with their friends.
I'm pretty numb to it at this point and just focus on what I feel like doing.

I cant judge the general atmosphere of the omega server as a whole. But I heard that a christmas event held there had to be cancelled early due to drama and misbehaviour. The same event held on the moogle server was a smashing success. With over 350 million gil worth of gifts being distributed among players attending. And even cash shop items, without a single incident.
Knowing this, I feel alot better about the general atmosphere on the moogle server. If a toxic atmosphere is the price you have to pay for having a high endgame clear rate on your server, ill take a casual server any day.

I've been on Leviathan (Primal data center)since the ARR beta. I love it. We have a big server population and some very nice people. I've made a lot of friends here and don't have nearly the problems with pugs that most on the forums seem to have. Wouldn't change servers for anything.

Used to be on Ultros, lagged a fair bit, and met a lot of salty peeps in the high end HW duties. Moved to Tonberry and lag was much improved as was community. Took break and decided to make new character. Tonberry was locked, so went to Gungnir which I love.

Omega is a very bad place.

I know nothing about the Omega Christmas event so I cannot comment on that.
I came to Omega from Phoenix, and haven't really experienced any increased toxicity level on the server. There are bad apples, sure, but I believe these can be found everywhere; on the contrary, I think Omega's Novice Network and novice/veteran cooperation is really good (if you blacklist that single person who uses the NN as SJW twitter).
Maybe the issues are related to specific place (Limsa general chat?) or time (late EU night?) or FC/linkshell? Again, I don't want to attack your opinion, but it would be nice if it would go into more depth than "Omega is bad."

To be fair, the thread simply asks how you feel about your server. They don't particularly care for Omega - but they don't have to state why. Don't let their opinion of the server upset you. If you like it, that's fantastic. But they don't seem to care for it and they don't have to explain to you why. Opinions are just that.
As for Midgardsormr, it's decent enough. People wait for hunt pulls, you see the same people day in and day out for years at a time so it has a friendly, neighborhood vibe to it. A little quiet, needs more active linkshells. That aren't related to hunts. I see a few people trying to bring RP to the server so that's nice.

My server is full of weirdos and annoying toxic people. Those elitist types who put so much value on their performance in a video game because their real life is so unfulfilling.
Then there's also the normal people who just want to play, and those who want to be helpful.
Gilgamesh is neither good nor bad, and like any other place in life you just have to choose well in who you socialise with.
