Uh... no? Just because you lost some elemental magic on CNJ that was never used and gained elemental magic on THM where it was needed doesn't mean anything is gone, simply redistributed correctly. I think you're jumping the gun a little too much here.

One, we don't know if this is a complete list as it doesn't even have the names or any detailed information on the spell or skill.

Two, for all we know the new Elemental Magic skills on THM could actually hit worth a damn and be useful. Because up until now casters were entirely useless aside from healing. Even a fully buffed AM (If you even managed to cast it in time) does a fraction of the DMG any melee do in the same amount of time on mobs 50+.

Really, you seem to be afraid that they broke two classes that were already entirely broken to begin with.

tl;dr: Mages were already broken, it's too soon to tell, they are probably better now.

Just be happy we dont have to buy or spend hours farming spell scrolls....yet, roughly what 3-8m for comet on xi right now unless u wanna spam WoE (aka the new RMT hunting ground)...no thanks. Thats why I always preferred blu I guess

I for one like the seperation in mage jobs, frankly I hate being a main heal but like to make things go boom. Something you couldnt really do with thm or con. U were always just a healer in all my pt exp

I pretty much have both mage classes to 50.

I am excited for this update. I'm tired of being invited into a party as a THM to heal, or to not use my nukes as a CNJ. I'm glad there are defined roles with them now. Yeah we lost a lot of cool spells and self buffs, but I mean it's worth it. Anything to make combat harder. And who's to say some of these abilities won't return in the third mage class they plan on releasing around 2.0?

Honestly we just need to wait it out and see how it turns out. I think it's for the better in this game. Was tired of having to choose from all those spells when half were useless anyways. I mean who honestly used repose, bind, absorb spells besides mp, etc... I mean you can't lie that we had TOO much before.
