What they need to do is simply allow players to queue in solo and give them a huge buff or add NPCs; something that compensates for the lack of a proper party composition. They can even nerf all the mobs. Forcing cut scene will just kill MSQ roulette. Even a massive EXP spike has its limits. By the time 4.2 rolls around, I'll be close to having every job at or near 70 unless I'm lazy about it. What use is more EXP on max level jobs to me? Alliance Roulette worked because people actually like the 24 mans. 50 Mendacity and 2-4m EXP won't make people care when they're locked into 31 minute cut scenes.

I hope by next LL we get alot more information about this. This is something that should be instanced. They decided to keep it CS locked so lets hope they figured something out after two expansions..

I am worried for these dungeons and the new players in it.

If I'm forced to watch/wait for cutscenes in Main Scenerio, I simply won't be doing it.

Well if it does turn out I to be what it sounds like (the only change being inability to move forward in the dungeons until everyone is out of cut scenes) then they will just quickly have to revert back or make another alteration because no one will run those dungeons and new players will have a really hard time getting through. They won’t just leave it like that for a long time (I would hope). It’s tough to imagine a reward good enough to make players continually want to sit through a half hour or more of cut scenes.

- Cautiously optimistic about the glam system. It isn't exactly what I wanted but thats one free retainer at least.

- wtf @ NA fanfest being off the strip again. The Rio is overpriced for there being absolutely nothing to do around it. If you aren't going to put your con in the fun part of Vegas, why hold the event in Vegas?

I never even did anything in Vegas, and I've been to both so far. I don't go for Vegas :P

Eating/drinking/walking the strip with my FC was a blast. At the Rio we'd be getting half the bang for our buck so we're talking about making a vacation out of the EU one instead. It’d be cheaper for them and for attendees to hold it elsewhere, especially if theres others like you who don't care where they host it.
