    Yeah, pretty sure both systems will co-exist. It's still "free" 200 inventory slots, which is 1 and 1/8 of space saved from retainers for me.

    I don't know how I feel about the recording features...

    And I would also like if they could implement these emotes and sell them separately. For people that live outside of the States, getting these things is very very hard...

    Probably really clunky, tho'.

    A big question here would be: How will the two systems interact? Like, can you use items in an "ensemble" that aren't in the log (nor armoire) and can you use logged (and thus destroyed) items in regular glamours still? Will one override the other? Do you have to make an entire "ensemble" with only the gloves you wanna use from the log to use them with traditional glams? Questions!

    And the usability seems a bit underwhelming, too. Logging items and making ensembles is inn only for now and I bet that "making it available outside inns" will boil down to housing furnishings with the same function, rather than something you can use on the go.

    I dunno. We'll see how it'll turn out, but I'm sceptical for now.

    I am happy about most of it but.. I am still worried about the balance changes, Msq roulette, and housing those need to be more clearly addressed.

    The exp for Msq could be good but I do not want to see Trial, Leveling, or 50/60 killed off just to get us to queue into it..

    They really need to re-think forcing cut scenes on Prae and Castrum. Unless they're offering something absurd like 400 tomestones for the new tier or 5+ million EXP, no one's going to queue. Hell, I don't even know if all that EXP will be enough incentive.

    The CS for Prae is like 31 minutes right? Nobody is going to want to wait that long they really need to figure out how to turn 31 minutes of scenes into 5 minutes.. Even then 5 minutes is pushing it.

If they don't let players advance until all have finished the cutscene, what will happen is the new players will just get kicked so as to speed up the run. That would be worse for new players than what we have now.

    Unless they disable kicking of new players in the instance.

    No way this will happen. Not only is there no precedent for kick immunity in matched parties, if a new player went afk in a cutscene, it would deadlock the instance for the full 2 hours. Meaning someone would have to volunteer to leave first and take a 30 minute penalty

    What they need to do is simply allow players to queue in solo and give them a huge buff or add NPCs; something that compensates for the lack of a proper party composition. They can even nerf all the mobs. Forcing cut scene will just kill MSQ roulette. Even a massive EXP spike has its limits. By the time 4.2 rolls around, I'll be close to having every job at or near 70 unless I'm lazy about it. What use is more EXP on max level jobs to me? Alliance Roulette worked because people actually like the 24 mans. 50 Mendacity and 2-4m EXP won't make people care when they're locked into 31 minute cut scenes.

    That's one possible scenario. The other would be, a dead roulette. The statement "It may extend the duration of the dungeon" hints me that there will be some sort of blockage until the people watching their cs are done. This would be extremely awful imo. Now imagine a troll not passing on the dialog during the cutscene. You will have 7 people stuck there.
