Guys, much as I agree Zexy can be a pain, do we really need to get riled up like this just because they posted an opinion piece? I agree the music and flow is better in POTD. The thing I’m most alarmed about is that they aren’t tanking/taking the lead because of green slimes... they should be protecting the healer so if someone does die like that, they can raise the fallen party member. Let’s focus on why you disagree rather than stooping to Zexy’s level and posting equally inflammatory responses.

That's not what people have been disagreeing about, it's this:

Potd gives ----->You gain 583200 (+50%) gladiator experience points. and still the best resource to gain exp after 60.

He is stating false information as fact, and people have already replied with the maths to prove why it's a false statement. That line is not put as an opinion.

When your roulette's, weeklies and dailies are done play Potd for exp

For newer players, statements like this is harmful as they could take it as genuine help. They'll feel they should follow it for better exp, when in actual fact they're just making themselves grind over and over tons of times on something when about 3-4 dungeons would have done it.

I’m talking about the ones trying to trigger Zexy into slinging more mud about the novice network. I have no quarrel with anyone disputing the math. If you read my post, I said “Let’s Let’s focus on why you disagree rather than stooping to Zexy’s level and posting equally inflammatory responses.”

Ok, first off, specify you mean 60-61, since your initial post suggests 60-70.

Secondly, stop pushing your opinions as if it was fact. Just because you prefer PoTD over the other ways, doesn't mean everyone must. You liking PoTD over them does not in any way make it better. This is why people with your mindset should not be mentors, you try to shove your preferences off as false facts.

While PotD may be stress free, and may have good music, those are both subjective opinions. Opinions do not equate to fact.

I personally will always direct new players who want to gain a decent understanding and decent practice of their job to dungeons. PotD is more so for “test runs” to get a taste of what a job has potential to do, but things die far too quickly in there for anyone to get any decent practice on any job—tank, healer, or DPS.

Experience wise, at-level dungeons will always give the most experience after daily roulettes. That has always been the case, even when PotD was first released. The only difference is in queue times—DPS will always have longer queues, hence why I always encourage them to do other things while they wait, be it stuff in-game or something outside of the game, like reading a book.

Ok...let me address your points one at a time.First off, aside from the 'fun' factor as you put it, why are you using POTD as a PLD? You actually gain so much more experience in the same amount of time that you could run POTD 51-60 twice by running the level appropriate dungeon in SB. It was mentioned in another thread, but alliance roulettes literally give you millions of exp upon completion. For the information I just stated, that's not including the adventurer in need or daily bonus from queuing into it. You still gain more experience just by doing roulettes as tank thank you would using POTD.

As far as you getting kicked is concerned, what you're saying in largely incorrect. Posting what you said on here is one thing, but posting it in the NN is definitely a no-no because it is most certainly the wrong information. Novice players should be more focused on doing MSQ, and then dailies. As I stated before, tanks should not be using POTD if they are only trying to level up. They're missing out on exp, to be honest. Healers, too. DPS should still be queuing for roulettes unless the queues are ridiculously long, like 30m. But with alliance roulettes, the wait is more than worth it.

What you are posting on the forums in one thing, because people can debate you on it. If what you're posting here on the forums is the same thing that you're posting on the NN, then yeah, you are in the wrong.
