tbh i agree that some of the sound effects can be quite loud, that's why i choose <se.14> for all of my macros because it's the most subtle and the least obnoxious one. however, i don't think checkbox will be a good option since people can easily abuse it and it defies the sole purpose of the sound effects itself. instead, an independent volume bar for macro sound effect would be nicer. i know it's not that different from the checkbox, but at least it doesn't completely mute the sounds.

This is entirely fair as long as I turn it down to 0% volume.

So a checkbox to mute macro sounds is not a good option so then instead I just mute the game sound ...

I mean I don't really understand why YOU have to decide for ME to either have it on or not on, when I have people using macro sounds in whatever run I do I just mute the sound entirely so I don't have to hear it any more.

I don't need to know all that info in pugable content (there's a reason why it's pugable first place) Savage/ultmate (anything that needs coordination) I run with static, friends, fc and voice chat. I never have needed macro sounds.

Turning off all sound defeats purpose of them and we can do that. So not really a good argument against a toggle.
