And the thing will be that people think you're saying it just for yourself. Of course you are, but at the same time, theres a lot of people with that problem. Maybe not as severe as you, but there's probably a lot of people with problems with loud sounds.
Its just that a lot are afraid to say anything for the reason you said. Simply being ignored or having to deal with macros sounds being spammed... Or have to deal with being told "JUST MUTE IT" because everybody just LOVES playingm uted games, right? I personally don't.
They can even be annoying for me when I use it so i do it rarely. If i would spam it for every person i try to res i would go insane myself.

So instead of thinking about screaming "but it only affects you!!!" look at the bigger picture. Theres always more people than you, some people don't even know what triggers headaches suddenly while playing a game. Not everybody knows.

The game should be enjoyable for everybody and an extra checkbox will not kill your family, either.
