I'm reminded of a friend who invited me over to watch a movie I hadn't seen before, but instead of letting me just watch the damn movie, he fast forwarded through all the parts he apparently thought "weren't as cool"

Needless to say, this wasn't an optimal first-time-movie-watching experience.

I had a history-teacher like that! He watched The Patriot with us, fastforwarding through any non-battle-scenes, commenting them with "Oh, they gonna die anyways!"

...for a history lesson on a tuesday afternoon that was actually kinda entertaining
