And the PC version is also around the corner. Maybe they have something scheduled by that time? I can only hope... the sooner the better though!

When the game's story becomes self-aware:
Probably in next letter. (4.2 part 2 in January)
They will use it to promote PC version.
I'm less concerned about the quantity of male outfits than the fact that nine times out of ten what we do get is some sort of pseudo-dress/tunic/long coat. It's rare that we get actually badass looking body slot items that aren't overly embellished or have large swathes of cloth dangling from them for no apparent reason.
This issue is worse for the caster classes/jobs in particular but they all suffer from too many dresses/robes/long coats. Another issues that some of the few body slot items that look great on guys are class/job locked. A good example is the Sky Pirate's Vest of Aiming. It still suffers from "have this dangling piece of cloth for no reason" syndrome but for the most part this top looks amazing on male characters... too bad only Bards and Machinists can wear it. There's all of maybe 10-15 chest slot items that any class/race/sex can use that isn't a dress. That's woefully inadequate as far as options go.
I want more cool body slot items for males like:
Wind Silk Coatee (Really nice and versatile)
Riviera Doublet (Not bad at all... would love a sleeveless version though!)
Scion Adventurer's Jacket (Nice but a bit too modern for my taste)
Miqo'te Vest (one of my fav's and I wish other races had something similar much like I wish I could use the Hyur hempen undershirt and starter chest (even if it is a tunic of sorts))
Scion Rogue's Jacket (From the mogstation Thancred Modish outfit, this top is great... except for the long strips of green cloth hanging from it and the fact that it can't be dyed)
Survival Shirt + variants (These are nice and basic tops. Would like to see more in this style, maybe a few fancier versions - but no dangling sashes and crap)
Falconer's Shirt (This shirt seems slightly oversized but isn't bad. I wouldn't mind see something in this style with rolled up sleeves and more form fitting)
Holy Rainbow Shirt of <insert role here> (This was a great piece because every role has a version of it. I could have done without the poofy sleeves but all in all not bad)
Vintage Doublet Vest (A very basic vest that shows up in the low levels, particularly among crafting/gathering gear)
Uraeus Body Armor (Not bad though the sleeve parts are kinda weird)
Archaeoskin Jackcoat of Gathering/Crafting (these jackets look nice and take dyes well)
And that's about the most of it for the things anyone who isn't a Bard, Ninja, Monk, or Samurai can use.
Trust that I have gone through the Market Board as a WHM many times trying to find alternatives. But this is about all there is... and that certainly isn't "plenty" in my opinion.

How many men am I involved with? Well that depends... do you mean men as in males? Or just midlanders?
Probably one of the issues that I have with my male characters is variety when it comes to clothing.
I just wanted to say, to the people who say the forum is a minority... that really isn't true. Take a look at the Views count on this thread. It's at 11,213. I recently found out that one person can't give a thread multiple views.. You will only count as one(Tested this)
So, 11,213 unique individuals have at the very least, entered this thread. Just putting it out there!
Show Your Miqo'te records show that 2,366,717 unique individuals have visited that thread since it's creation in 2013

I suppose it all wraps around to - if they make more male outfits... eventually we won't have a dress for casters and healers.
I support gender unlocking all glams for those that want them, even though I will never in a million years ever put a dress on my character. It's not my aesthetic but I think it's stupid to restrict those who do.
And they should honestly unlock job gear (except artifact) to be usable by all jobs. I love playing RDM/WHM/AST, but I love striking/aiming sets the most. The Sky Pirate Jacket of Striking is one of my favorite tops in the game, but I don't want to have to play MNK or SAM to use it in battle. If I could have that on my RDM, I could finally switch out of the Augmented Shire Coat I have been wearing for 9 months now because there is literally no other option I want (except Hannish shirt but... ya know. I'm poor).
I always feel really silly when my girl friends show off their new glamours and I show up like, "Still wearing the Shire coat! yaaaaaaaaay"
I've managed to put together a small wardrobe of outfits I cycle through, but the selection is just so limited if you don't want to wear a dress/robe/tunic/longcoat. Gender specific outfits aren't even the issue for me, its the fact that the lion's share of the body slot items in the game are some form of pseudo-dress, even for tanks.I suppose it all wraps around to - if they make more male outfits... eventually we won't have a dress for casters and healers.

I would like to have more body slot options for "all classes" that are NOT dresses, robes, tunics or long coats. Casters, especially, are saddled with an inordinate amount of them and there's only a handful of non-pseudo-dress options to choose from. Male characters in particular should have more body slot options that aren't dresses.
Just going from in game models, I'd like to see these proliferated as level 1 "all classes" body slot options:
Gyuki Leather Jacket
Gryphonskin Jerkin:
Cotton Shirt
Ruby Cotton Gambison:
Sky Pirate's Vest of Aiming:
These are only a few examples of a style we need to see more of. We have a huge assortment of dresses/robes/longcoats/tunics but a noticeable lack of more form fitting body slot options that don't go below the waste and aren't practically bare chested. We need more of the latter that all classes can use.
Now while this one isn't a body slot option, this particular glove option provides a unique way to customize a body slot option:
Eikon Leather Armguards of Casting:
Imagine if we had something like those gloves but it put the "rolled up sleeve/floaty" on both sides instead of a long glove on one. It can really change how a top looks. Here's an example:
Before: and After:

Being able to make something "short" or "rolled up" sleeves can really change the look of a top and add a measure of variety. Ideally I'd prefer it to be an option like helmet visors that you can click on or off so I can use another glove option, but this way is a simple method of getting the option without requiring new code or UI additions.

Ruby Cotton Gambison should get alternate versions without all of the junk attached too, like the Survival Shirt.
