I asked nicely to avoid making pointless posts. Would you be able to elaborate about why you wouldn't want the option?

I dislike these fads people cling on to. A pet wyvern? Why? Why are we dealing with pets at all? Aesthetics seems to be the only thing this community cares about.

My reasons are entwined with previous Final Fantasy titles. A dragoon to me is a knight with a spear that has long range and can jump. A little pet wyvern does not fit with the vision I have of them.

It is personal opinion of course. You like them, I don't.
