Any ideas to get 1kk gil in a short time for a noob?

Hello, guys! New Thread for a noob.

I have been playing FFXIV for about a month now, and i love it!

What I'm getting into now is earning the good old gil. Do you guys know a way to get this currency?

What i have been doing so far is buying gysahl greens and reselling them in the market place, this made me a good amount of gil (close to 500k in a week).

Now, I'm here thinking; what's next? How could I get more gil?

If you're at least level 60 you can run the Aquapolis, accessible by doing Dragonskin treasure maps in a small group (about 3 people with one tank one heals one dps is enough)

if you're level 70 the options include the lost canals of uzanair as well, which works the same way.

Some valuable loot can be found there some of which sells for millions a piece.

Yeah, dragon skin maps into Aquapolis sounds like a good way to make some money. Some of the mats that drop in there still have quite a lot of value (at least on my server) and it's a nice way to pick up some minions

treasure maps are open world, there's a level 50ish quest where you unlock the ability to search for them and you beat on some mobs and get some loot. They added a dungeon that can spawn with the Dragonskin (level 60) and Gazelskin (level 70) ones. You can get the maps on the market board, you get a token book from a quest at level 60 and one of the rewards is the maps so they are pretty cheap most of the time.

You get dragonskin and gazelleskin maps from gathering. Once you are level 60 and can do Wondrous Tails each week then you can also get maps as rewards from the 9 sticker reward tier.

I just saw that your still doing the level 50 MSQ in another post, you'll need to have access to all the heavansward zones as the maps take place in those zones

Pick a gathering class, boring but will give you a steady income. I made 30 million since 4.0 and then dumped it all back into housing >.>
