A couple patches later, Jandelaine acquires a tanning bed from Ironworks coz Sid is enterprising enough to design one for Ishgardians.

If this were to happen, I’d pretty much never need a Fantasia ever again, even though I’m 100% fine with the tone my character has.

I’d support this

I seriously think small changes like skin color and eye color should be able to be changed at the Aesthetician.

On one hand, yeah I can see how tanning and contact lenses could make sense. On the other hand, I can see how things that you are "born with" are set when the character is created and shouldn't be changed so easily. Honestly, I'm on the fence on this issue and so neither support nor condemn the idea out of hand, but at the end of the day it's never going to happen because of the existence of fantasia. What I WOULD like to see happen is the implementation of body paint at the aesthetician. Having a nice suite of painted on "body tattoos" would be pretty cool, though even then, I can think of reasons why SE might not want to implement a feature like this.

Nope. The aesthetician is literally a hair/makeup stylist. He can't change your skin pigment or eye colour.
They should allow you to change your skin tone, but only from the row of colors you picked your skin from, so it literally would just be the difference of your character getting a little more tan, or a little more pale. If you want something more drastic, then fantasia.
