More egis

There are already designs for adds that are very similar to egis in many of the primal fights. What is taking them so long?

Also why are Shiva, and Ramuh not yet a thing for egis. Shiva and Ramuh would complete the classic triangle of basic summons, being Shiva, Ramuh, and Ifrit. They should also put Leviathan in afer those two. He’s a classic.

Not really, it's like they forgot about the egi glamour system. More options would be awesome. I don't like Garuda and I don't want to just make it a carbuncle.

Wonder if they're saving them for something like the cash shop. Or would be fun to get it for an event / quest.

On the other hand, when we got carbuncles I switched but quickly noticed I couldn't notice the egi glamour because of all the stuff going on. With the exception of 4-man dungeons.

Seems like it's more just for standing around, taking selfies and asking people to draw a commission. Unless it's dungeons doesn't seem to be noticeable in bigger combat situations with all the flashy. Anyways, you're right some are already out there so why not just make them available. Not everyone will use them or care, but this is SMN we will never be happy.

I'm personally more on board for the actual smaller size summons but..we got something similar to that in our actual actions and people ruined that. The ramuh one would be cute..little old man wishing troll flickering with sparkles.

There were plans to release 1 EGI glamour each patch. It seems that Yoshida and the developers have decided to not to release any new EGI. When asked during a Q&A, Yoshida said that we (Summoner) should be content with Bahamut. While I am happy that we got Bahamut, I still wish they released an EGI glamour each patch.

Who knows, we might be suprised and see a new EGI glamour in patch 4.2, but personaly, I think the EGI glamour is going to be released, just like the Freecompany Primal Summons and Male Bunny Outfits.

It's because each egi needs to be designed to have it's own unique ability animation for each existing ability in the game.

It does take time to create each unique animation for each ability then to determine how to implement the system.

It's also possible that they may integrate the egi system into the new glamour system since let's be real for a moment having to type

/egiglamour "Garuda-Egi" "Ruby Carbuncle"

Is pretty lazy from a development standpoint. It would serve them better to have it be part of the glamour system coming in 4.2

I'll be more than fine with them role-locking some egis to cut down on the development time animations-wise. Have Shiva (in shield form) and Sehirot be locked to Titan-Egi; Ramuh and Sophia behind Garuda-Egi; Levi and Zurvan behind Ifrit-Egi. Only one of the old primals so that that might make sense as an all-rounder is Moggle Mog tl;dr I want. I need.

As a summoner main myself I feel like egi glamour is a ver small feature that can take a backseat to other more important features such as the glamour overhaul. It is on their list, but because it only effects us summoners it isn't as important as other features right now. We summoners just need to have patience on this.
