More egis

Anyone else find it funny that the primal minions look sooooo much better than the egis? I also find it funny that something as trivial as glamors gets so much bush back from the community. Or a pet job getting more pets. Yoshi and the devs are constantly saying "we listen to feedback" but any time a summoner asks a question they out right laugh at them. Maybe it's just me, but I gave up on smn a long time ago....just like the devs.

The models are already in the game and they have battle animations from Verminion, how's that for extra glamours?

Worst part is that those battle animations would see far more use as egi glamour than they ever would in LoV

Which means you might not see another Egi in your arsenal until maybe 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5 or not even until the next expansion.

After looking it up, they did indeed say 'planning to release them one patch at a time.'

What’s the status on the glamours for summoner’s egis?

After assessing the resources needed to make this happen, we discovered that we need an immense amount, so we are planning to release them one patch at a time. We’re working towards implementing them starting from Patch 3.4, so please hang in there a bit longer.

Chances are, they underestimated how much resources they needed (especially as they would need to make new 'skill/spell/Enkindle' animations for Ramuh, Shiva, Leviathan, etc egi's). Good thing they said 'planning' and not 'promise.'

I just wonder what happened with the promise of expanding on the Egi glamour system in every major content patch after we got carbuncle, forgotten about it or keeping silent hoping the community will forget?

No, but to keep expanding on the glamour system, more colored carby's.
One example used by Yoshida in a LL QA was that certain Egi's could only fill x role, Sephirot egi could work as Ifrit / Titan but not as a caster, but a Ramuh egi could only be a caster type.

I suppose a promise was reaching a bit too far on my side, but it was mentioned that more glamours would be added in future updates, as said in the Letter from the Producer LIVE Part XXXIII, at 52:20 time into the video.
