The worse the game gets... for jerks. It's not a demographic I think we should accommodate. Even sports have rules against "unsportsmanlike" conduct. Any healthy competition does.

And I'm sure that during your entire MMO experiences you've never been a jerk? Not once did you spam an ability to snag a mob before someone else who may have been there waiting for the mob longer than you?

Claiming systems like this was what caused 99% of the drama among HNM linkshells who had to resort to measures like hacks and MPK to thwart their competition. To me, that's everything that's wrong with how FFXI handled a competitive environment which only brought out the worst in people.
