Males have historically have commonly worn corsets. From war generals' parade uniforms to every day wear for the affluent man. They were never laced as tightly as women, but they were indeed worn. Corsets are stylish on men and women and I would love to see corsets for both.

-.- I'm NOT referring to a corset as a single item, I'm referring to things in general outside of corsets. I have no problem with men wearing corsets. I'm referring to players who take it to an extreme in trolling. certain swimsuits, dresses, ect.

Wouldn't say it's trolling - we all just enjoy different things. Some people like to stay proper and covered, others like weird outfits, some like to hooch it up. The game has a variety of options as players have a variety of tastes.

Yes, I think things should be fair for all races. That is my opinion, others are welcome to their own.
Once again I have no issues with corsets , certain items can be used as I had made some examples.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, way they glamour, ect, AS I HAD MENTIONED BEFORE. Being I'm from Balmung ( including other servers trough cross parties)I have encountered plenty of trolls and jackasses who take it to a whole different level. I am not alienating anyone out nor questioning anyone's taste. I support people who want it for style purposes, not trolling. Their should be some diversity however to keep races interesting.

Men really haven't worn corsets that much historically; some digging only showed it popular for a brief fifteen year span in France in the nineteenth century. The corset is famous as a symbol of sexual repression, actually; women used it to unnaturally tighten their waists in a painful form of body modification similar to footbinding, and the modern corset tends to be more or less a female waistcoat in style. The corset survives mostly due to steampunk ideas and as bedroom wear, mostly.

I'm not sure allowing it would be all that good, as the latter is most of the usage. There are plenty of nice victorian style glamours in game-the high house dress is one, for example. I'd also be blunt and say that the last thing I'd like to see is some roe male wearing one as shock wear.

From different heights, from gender height disparity within the races that some have and some don't, different body builds (as much as a JRPG game allows...), and, you know, horns and tails and scales and popotos, the races themselves are relatively diverse. Glamour is there to diversify between characters, not between races, and it shouldn't be how you diversify between genders, either, but unfortunately, it is.
As for dresses, with things like the level 60 WHM and AST AF sets, can we stop pretending guys never wore anything with a feminine-design in this game? Which makes the abundance in gender-locks and lack of male-enabled, let alone -specific, glamour all the worse.

I am now 100% intrigued and curious as to how someone trolls others with glam. Emoting, ERP...yeah I can see that as they are actions but glam is just a state of being.

If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.

    Because it merits repeating.
They're not going to make gear race-specific because it'll add a load of development with absolutely zero profit, especially in a system where Fantasia is a thing. So if they won't diversify stats, they must diversify looks, but about the only place where that has room is the starting outfits because, as shown in the lore book, those have strong cultural meanings sometimes, and the other races would have no reason to wear the same thing. Anything that comes after is detached from such restrictions and any attempt to limit it based on race is arbitrary if not outright silly.
