Option to turn of bumper "tab targeting" for PS4 QoL

I was wondering if we could ever get the option to turn off tab targeting on controllers. The controller has various ways to switch between targets one of them involves the use of holding down, on a ps4 controller for example, L2 or R2 while pressing L1 or R1 to cycle between targets which is a pretty nifty thing.
But I'm sick of it I hate so much nowadays because you also use L1 and R1 in combination with other buttons to switch between hotbars and L2 and R2 to access said hotbar to execute actions.
I tend to play finger yoga with my controller keeping gcds on hotbar 1 and abilities on hotbar 2, its how I do, I kinda learned to live with it but lately I find my self losing my mind accidently switching target trying to switch to a different hotbar ESPECIALLY in pvp.
I switch targets with the directional pad and have never had a need for bumper targeting and simply wish for an option to disable it. If there is an option to turn it off I sure as check have never found it. Tell me I'm not alone on this???
