If you are actively hunting, you should never miss one in the zone you are in. You shoulnd't be complaining if you are at your house crafting and miss one. the system is not designed for everyone on the server to get credit.

Considering hunts are supposed to be a community activity and it's impossible to solo even A ranks when at relevant level (currently all Stormblood hunts), I sincerely doubt this was the intended design. Increasing the HP, level or lowering ours wouldn't change anything except make ARR and HW hunts not die simply by giving them a dirty look.





Its been stated that A ranks were designed for parties of 4-8, and S ranks were designed for 3 parties of 8. Assuming this correct, they were incredibly naive then. It doesn't really add up since they actively promote massive groups by adding raid tokens and the new mount. That will only encourage more people to hunt, which they have to know. Either way, hunts are presented as open world content and treated by the community as such. Like I said, it wouldn't change anything to scale old hunts to what they used to be. You don't even need parties now.

Not true at all, hunts can spawn very far away from the person who triggered the spawn, all it takes is 1 trigger-happy person pulling as soon as they get there for the spawner to not get credit. Seen it happen with bird of paradise, croque mitaine and nunyunuwi.
Item levels keep rising, but hunt HP remains static.
