



Time taken to kill has nothing to do with reward, reward is based on rarity. So if a boss fate spawns twice as much as an A rank, then the reward would be roughly half irregardless to difficulty,The boss FATEs are definitely impossible in old zones these days, this would be a good solution to that. However some of these FATEs can actually take longer than an Stormblood A rank to kill, so I would hope they would take that into account as far as rewards go. Otherwise they will remain unused. As it is now, half the A ranks in SB zones that are called, only a handful show up.
