Eh, I read them on my first run and it's just a couple of lines each. I don't think he was holding the whole alliance for that long.

You know what? I should calculate the exact amount of time it takes to read the text in the raid one day. I bet people are overdramatizing the amount of time it takes to wait for others.
People in our time are so grossly impatient for everything, and just want everything handed to them immediately.
What ever happened to having patience, kindness, and appreciation for other people’s experiences? I’m tired of so many people just wanting to rush through everything. It sucks the fun out of most things, especially in gaming. The only real exception is speed runs. I.e. light farm.
I also understand that veteran players get tired. I really do, but If your play fatigue is making you so vastly impatient, you need to go take a break, and do something else. I just don’t get how the attitude went from being patient with others in this game, to all patient people should have their own parties. It should be the other way around.

Yet again, more of the false moral high ground and now partnered with sanctimonious grand-standing.You know what? I should calculate the exact amount of time it takes to read the text in the raid one day. I bet people are overdramatizing the amount of time it takes to wait for others.

I've already stated that you being kicked was not valid and more importantly that it was not the right thing to do.
However, I also said I don't like your crappy attitude and the way you think of others, and instead of humbling yourself and realizing that the world is not built to react to you, you have now decided to double down and reach as far as possible to constantly talk down to and insult people for being "impatient," how people need everything handed to them, and insinuating that those who disagree or criticize your actions are unkind. You are sucking the fun out of your own experience, and with your terrible attitude towards people it does not surprise me. The fact of the matter is that if seven people all agree that your actions are against their interests, it does not make them lesser. It certainly does not make them "unkind."
I already know I'm wasting my time with you, as I've seen the posts you've made in the past, so I'm done here.

Troll premades (e.g. the 3 archers and thm that all spam Provoke on cooldown and successfully vote kick anyone in their alliance that tries to remove them) constantly messing up mechanics so the raid wipes (i.e. dropping stack markers on other alliances, dragging adds to mid so the aoes kill everyone, etc).
Also, people who demand perfection on all mechanics after you've cleared it once. Sometimes it takes people a few tries to get it down. Take your rage and GTFO.
I don’t mean any Ill will at all, so yeah, you are wasting your time. There’s nothing wrong with being moral, and wanting to have good character. Also, it’s completely unfair to judge me for my past instead of who I am right now. I considered everyone’s opinions on alternatives, and the end of the day I just don’t agree. Those opinions do not align with me, and if people want to call me selfish, then that’s fair. You’re allowed to think what you want of me. Being selfish isn’t even that bad, so long as I don’t make it have negative effects on other people.
I’m not standing around, and pretending that I’m playing my part as my role. The other healer wasn’t left to do most of the healing like in most of those kinds of cases. I wasn’t taking my time in the same way that I would in a public zone. I just read the things that took a few clicks, and I went my merry way. People make a big deal out of it over nothing.
I could go digging into other people’s threads, and make it hard for them to have the opportunity to be seen as a decent person, but I don’t like to play that game. It’s a waste of time to try to haunt them with their old posts. It’s also gaslighting, and only succeeds in cutting people down. Either way, this was a thread meant for venting on this particular raid. We are getting off topic.

The troll-voke is not possible anymore due to role skills but yea i have seen that in world of darkness ...Troll premades (e.g. the 3 archers and thm that all spam Provoke on cooldown and successfully vote kick anyone in their alliance that tries to remove them) constantly messing up mechanics so the raid wipes (i.e. dropping stack markers on other alliances, dragging adds to mid so the aoes kill everyone, etc).

Fortunately I never ran into this.
Though with my old FC we managed to get a full FC alliance in one of the 24 man raids through queue timing and playing with language settings and well... we died a lot more than we should have because we were all doing things we really shouldn't have been doing just because we knew no one was going to rage over it. Though I think a couple people came close to dying IRL due to laughing too much.
That's not a yes or no question that you proposed. And you are being quite stubborn with your response, even though the logical explanation was given to you.
What relevance does you going in there 5 times to get a piece have to do with you reading the notices in the underwater section? I don't think you're being 100% with us anyways, you're acting so defensive over something so irrelevant. It takes literally not more than 5 min to queue for Rabanastre as a healer.I’m not budging on this. My answer is firmly no on any alternative. I want to experience the game organically, and if that means reading plaques on the first time of being in that route, then I’m going to do it, and embrace the feeling of the new experience. It’s not often appreciated that the three routes are randomized, therefore making each run a unique experience in the dungeon.
Today I had been in there five times while trying to get a piece of healer gear, and I also had to successfully out roll on it. Anything new, and interesting that I didn’t notice is what’s going to keep me motivated to keep doing my runs.
This is the most stubborn post I've ever read on these forums...
Oh boy, here we go with the philosophy and the hyperbole. And you're not overdramatizing by being defensive about a kick you got? I got kicked out of an instance once, I put on my big boy pants, requeued, got the instance done, and that was that. You know what? I should calculate the exact amount of time it takes to read the text in the raid one day. I bet people are overdramatizing the amount of time it takes to wait for others.

Did this really need a thread on the forums? Did this really need you to be defensive with multiple people on the forums? What was so wrong about using the Tales of the Duty Finder thread that the Ivalice raid needed its own post especially for you? Don't single yourself out just because you were the one who got kicked.
You got a bad group, that's literally what the situation was. You're acting as if it's the standard when it's not. I've not seen one person get kicked for being behind or rude, even. Only because they've DC'd and never came back. What ever happened to having patience, kindness, and appreciation for other people’s experiences? I’m tired of so many people just wanting to rush through everything. It sucks the fun out of most things, especially in gaming. The only real exception is speed runs. I.e. light farm.

You've been dismissed from a number of duties over time according to past threads and posts that you've made. Have you paused to consider that the fault may lie with you rather than other players? Personal experiences may differ, of course, but I've played since 2.0 and the only time I have been kicked from a duty has been due to disconnecting during a storm.I got dismissed from the duty for reading the descriptions on the walls. It was the first time I got access to the area where you are forced to dive, and as an Ivalice fan, it made me so upset. I just want to read my lore in peace. It only takes a minute. I really dislike people sometimes.
Oh my! I've never been in Alliance B, but now I look forward to reading them. Groups tend to wait long amounts of time at each boss as far as I've seen, so you might have just gotten unlucky with that set.
