The client side interface doesn't allow for multiple transactions which would make the transaction delay of the servers bearable (as the video I previously posted demonstrates). You can blame the client for not being designed in a way that would alleviate the problem.

Doesnt matter right now we have to hit down, wait for the server to see the cursor should have moved, then we have to wait for the server to tell the client to move the cursor, or even where the mouse is, then it enter/click which takes a round trip to the server, then select the amount of items, guess what another round trip to the server, which is why its taking so long, if the servers requirement wasnt there it would be almost instant because the only time the server has to be contacted is to put the gil in your inv and take the item out, rather than having to contact the server for every key press.
All we need is a client side UI and it will work.
Also nice OP, no sugestions or anything just "This sucks fix it!!!" a constructive thread offers sugestions in the OP.
It's better than posts asking for more underwear. This thread turned into a constructive discussion.
"This sucks fix it." Is a valid form of feedback, which is one of the reasons these forums exist.

OP here..
How many of you when looking at the menu to sell items to an NPC just wish you could hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard and highlight all the items you want to sell at once, then click Sell.
That basic function (that exists natively in windows, but some how not in this game that uses pop up windows) would make the existing interface at least more tolerable. At least then you could do a many to one transaction.
DO YOU HEAR ME DEVS?
its the small things.....
