The thing is it's NOT a unique female miqo'te emote since the males also use it in cutscenes, we want to be able to use it out of them

Then make a female Miqo'te. ALL the races & genders have a plethora unique emotes. I think that's a good thing.

Any moment now it will be revealed that WHM is cheating on SCH with MNK after having had DRG's baby and DRG is WHM's cousin who is already married to PLD.

That wasn't there when I replied, you edited it after. Females also get a unique shocked emote in cutscenes, we do a hands up gasp thing. (Maybe also another existing one from males or a different race?)

But it's not unique to female Miqo'tes? Just unfairly locked to male Miqo'te players? You see male Miqo'tes use that emote in cutscenes.

If they want it that badly. OK. Then Female Miqo'tes need a new unique /shocked. Just because it's in Cutscenes doesn't mean it's not unique in only that female Miqo'tes can use it at will.

They did the same for male Highlanders ( if I remember correctly ) after giving away one of their unique emotes to the populous via Side Quest.

I'm pretty sure everyone gets a unique surprised emote in cutscenes. They could just unlock them for use and name the something else.

The hand pose is different and the male is more leaned back. I already addressed that.

Agreed. I've wanted to be able to use that emote for ages.

I really want to be able to use this adorable emote at will. Not sure if every race has a 'unique' cutscene version of shock/surprise, but if they do, then the simplest solution would be to add the option to use these in game as, say, /cshock or /cutsceneshocked.

The argument that it's the 'female Miqo'te's unique shocked emote' goes out the window the moment you realize that, ya'know, female Miqo'te aren't the only ones who can do it. The animation is already rigged for the male Miqo'te model to use, so there's absolutely no reason they shouldn't be able to access it at will, and every reason to allow it ('new' content that actually requires 0 new work to be done, it's a win-win for players AND SE).

    Agree.

tbh I don't get these people who act like female miqotes are a different race from male miqotes anyway. It's the same thing, people.
