But why do i have to do all that in the first place, this system is very depressing making all those good friends and then kicking you out of nowhere without having done anything wrong.
I do not know, and it can be improved ya, I am just letting you know what you can do now to deal with it.
Did you lose the mandragora bud? That would kick you out of it. It gets removed automatically after a certain amount of hours or you finish some part of the story.
After SB came out it is :
Have played less than 168 hours
Have not completed the main scenario quest "The Far Edge of Fate"
If you meet any of those the other ways of getting back in is to become a mentor or unsub so you can get returner status some way.

For how long do i have to be unsubscribed in order to enter the Novice Network again? And how many days will it give me when i re-enter it. I feel really sad that it kicked me like that and i lost the will to continue without all my friends in the novice network.Did you lose the mandragora bud? That would kick you out of it. create an alt, tell your friends what happened. make a linkshell.![]()
No idea. You just need the flower icon to get back in. I think it's 45 days at least with no activity on the character to get the flower. Wouldn't suggest it though.
Either that or make a new character to get invited to just hang out when you feel like it if that's an option or add all your friends to your friend list and talk to them that way.
Returner status is like months being unsubed, by that time your friends would have graduated from novice just like you, best way to get in touch with them is try going back to the Novice Network ( making an alt, so you can have the bud icon again), then start writing down names and add them as friends or make a linkshell.
graduating from novice is part of growing up in this game, just like you your friends will be graduating soon so its a good idea to find ways to get in touch with them
Of note, the Novice Network is to introduce new players to the game. The hope is that by the time you're 'not a novice', you've learned how to use the many features of the game, like friends lists, Linkshells, Free Companies, etc.
Your friends from the NN will also be leaving the channel soon, if they haven't already, so the best option you have is to make a Linkshell of your own for anyone you loved talking to/hanging out with. Linkshells can have over 150 people, so you can pretty much recreate your Novice Network experience while still keeping the NN itself for new players who need to learn how to play the game.
You could also create a Free Company with your friends if you haven't already joined one you like.
I absolutely understand wanting to keep in touch with people, but the NN was never meant to be permanent and the game gives many other options that are permanent so that you can continue to talk to the people you've grown close to.
This 100%. Hunt down those friends you made and make a LS. Name it like "Novice Network: College Edition" who knows, it might be a huge hitOf note, the Novice Network is to introduce new players to the game.
