FFXIV automatically kicked me from Novice Network

Hi, i started this game a while back and through my time in it i made a lot of friends in the Novice Network and had a lot of fun with them, but today suddenly when i unlocked Stormblood expansion, the game itself automatically kicked me from there without warning and i lost contact with everyone. It was not a player who kicked me, it was the game itself and i still have a lot of questions so i can't understand why it would do that since its the best channel to socialize in the game. The worst part is that i can't find a way to get back in that specific network, i can't remember the name and acctualy i think i can't join any novice network anymore.

But why do i have to do all that in the first place, this system is very depressing making all those good friends and then kicking you out of nowhere without having done anything wrong.

I do not know, and it can be improved ya, I am just letting you know what you can do now to deal with it.

I think that's a built in system. You stopped being a sprout, I presume, so you're not a novice anymore. Once you become a mentor, I believe you will be able to re-enter.

Did you lose the mandragora bud? That would kick you out of it. It gets removed automatically after a certain amount of hours or you finish some part of the story.

After SB came out it is :
Have played less than 168 hours
Have not completed the main scenario quest "The Far Edge of Fate"

If you meet any of those the other ways of getting back in is to become a mentor or unsub so you can get returner status some way.

Just speculating, since you made it all the way to stormblood you probably graduated from a novice? Just guessing.

For how long do i have to be unsubscribed in order to enter the Novice Network again? And how many days will it give me when i re-enter it. I feel really sad that it kicked me like that and i lost the will to continue without all my friends in the novice network.

create an alt, tell your friends what happened. make a linkshell.

It's not a subscription thing, it's a hours played or hitting a certain point in the story thing. If it got removed once you got into SB, then that's the point you stop being a novice, and know everything that the novice network could have taught you. If you want to keep in touch with them, add them to a friends list, or better yet, form a linkshell with them. If you make a new character, that character will count as a new player, and you will be able to re-enter the novice network as a novice. If you gain the mentor status on your main, you will be able to re-enter the novice network as a mentor.
