You are probably correct in a lot of instances, but those people will also not give a hoot about your grievances either. We can't force them to lower the ilvl when it's their party. Also keep in mind many farm parties want the doge not weapons. So they're aiming for fast clears not people bouncing less geared alt jobs.

Couldn't you just make a Lootmaster PF on your 330 tank and do a "everyone claims a weapon drop" system in the description? I've seen several groups use this style and it works well.

Hey, instead of requiring DPS to skip mechanics, why don't you EFFING LEARN TO DO THEM?

    this has gone long enough

Because lowering the item level so people can come on alts lowers the chance of success and people don't want to take risks.

PF is not a nice place. It's filled mainly with three types of players. Mediocre players, mediocre players who are overly elitist and hostile for no good reason, and people who can learn and improve while not being at each other's throats. The last type there is the minority, by the way.

I dunno, OP's on same data center as me, and I just took a look at pf. Of the dozen or shinryu parties up all but 1 had either no ilvl or 320 set, and the last one was only i325. The parties are there, so I'm not really sure what the complaint is.

I just send a tell on my alt and if they are skeptical I tell them to just look up my main and I've had parties remove or at least lower the ilvl so my alt could join parties. >w> Asking doesn't hurt, worst thing that can happen is they say no or just ignore you.

Yeah, I've saw that before in ARR and HW but never in this scale. You need almost the minimum ilv of the weapon that drops to farm (or even clear/progress) the content.

Im tired to run this battle as tank. And please don't give me obvious answeers like "Do with your friends". This comunity is getting so toxic.
Sadly most people think that if one has high ilv means he must be good, In most of the case turn out to be the inverse unfortunately. Some additional ilv can be userful to make the run smoother in case of small hiccups but if a dps is permanently on the floor not much can be done.

I'll quote what a GameFAQs user said about it, and it's 100% to a tee what's going on:
"The reason for this is to try to catch raiders, not townies or huntboys.
There is a huge learning difference with 8 raiders marrying down compared to 8 townies trying to marry up.

If they could require 3 savage victories, you bet your a** they would because I don't want to play shinryu with people who haven't beaten 3 either. You're talking 3-4 times the learning curve length.

335, at least right now, proves the person has done at least some high energy content and isn't just a pony farmer."

Those groups with Genji weapons and full 340 are going to start trickling out of the PFs now after getting in killing it hard and maybe farming a little but dropping out soon after. They aren't in this for the long haul, the pony farmers are. The DPS checks are going to start being tighter, the heal checks being failed, and so on because the fight is still moderately difficulty at some parts. Savage Raiders will be skipping mechanics and clearing faster, and with them shuffling out the "Farm" groups are going to seem preposterous, and the practice groups are going to struggle.

I am 340 with my Genji weapon and still trying to get my clear. I almost never make mistakes either.
