Rant about Shinryu Farm/Clear parties

It's funny that the parties that set up higher requirements usually won't even clear, while parties with lower requirements last longer.

I never join parties with ridiculous requirements even if I can.

I believe we need something else than ilv to setup party requirements.

Players tend to setup high ilv requirements in farm parties because it's the only parameter that can be used to measure one's dps. Although we know things don't work like that.

How many times I've seen players barely pulling their weight in ilv330 gear while less geared people are a lot more skilled and actually know their job ?


This could be easily solved with a mean of performance filtering : mandatory SSS clears for joining PF farm parties would be a start.

Create your own PF with the ilvl you feel it's appropriate. No need to create a thread about "how unfair it is for people to set a PF with a "high" ilvl" .

Just don't join me move on and sort your own PF. It makes you wonder what goes through people's head sometimes

Set up your own PF. It does not take any longer for a PF to fill up if started by a dps rather than a tank for EX primals, so thats not a valid excuse.

The point of a farm is to get it dome faster. You wanna know what helps that? Not being at minimum ilvl.

Also, "skip second Aerial Blast"? I'm trying to skip the first one, my guy. I didn't even know there was a second one. So maybe you're not as great as you claim.

I've been practicing phase 1 these last few days and yeah, I never knew there was a 2nd aerial blast either.

Can you skip something with mediocre dps? If yes.. then expect high ilvl requirements. Skip Soar has made this the usual thing to expect.
Cross-server PF also made people set higher demands than before, as the group will still fill quickly.

So, are people stupid or what? all farm parties always wants minimum ilv 330+ but you can easily skip second Aerial blast with normal 320 comps. (just don't die)

I only have tanks on lv 330+ and I want to farm weapons for my melee dps and I simply can't, because they aren't in this ridicoulous minimum ilv.

Yeah, I've saw that before in ARR and HW but never in this scale. You need almost the minimum ilv of the weapon that drops to farm (or even clear/progress) the content.

Im tired to run this battle as tank. And please don't give me obvious answeers like "Do with your friends". This comunity is getting so toxic.

to be fair for an alt job right when patch 4.1 dropped yea the 24 mans dont even count because they have been out one week, and outside of tomes they are the only things that drop 330 gear thats not omega. So if the op is puggin omega, then the chances of them gettin drops are a gamble , Ive gotten a few drops but its many weeks where I go empty handed because of rng. So you are totally wrong maybe at the end of the patch but not at the start, very few people would have second jobs at 330 right now

Make your own party you say? Ok a friend of mine has done so a few times clearly marked as learning party and people leave after first wipe

it seems just as bad as its always been in my opinion, and being a bit more specific would help like learning party from phase one and up, or learning party add phase, would make things alot better. Because I just made it to l ast phase last night and its only so many wipes now I can take in first phase before I just give up on the whole run. Like people dyin to tidel waves multiple times shouldnt be a thing, so while its annoying sometimes people join learning groups because they dont know how far the learning for some has gone. So it seems to be best to just put which part your startin at from learning.
