    The argument that RDM is supposed to be a hybrid is a flawed one when it's clearly in the DoM caster dps role in XIV. Everything except the unenchanted weaponskills and these oGCDs deals magic damage (the former of which are that way as a punishment for not paying attention to your mana bars), so it should be consistent. It's not even a major buff. NIN had the same issue, too. There's no reason this can't be fixed either.

    Red mage is fine. Its a wonderful class, that needs no changes at this tier.
