It sounds like they've tried it a bit, the issue is more that the minigame is something they struggle with in particular. Imagine if you had to win a Lord of Verminion match to finish the story. It might be similar for them.


Interesting point. I never really thought of it that way since Vril already introduced you to the duty command feature.


While this makes sense, this fight doesn't require random abilities to clear it. It doesn't introduce major changes to the core gameplay. It's a fight, something you've been doing for hundreds of hours by now. If we had played Lord of Verminion since level 1, we would kind of expect it by now, and hopefully master it. The problem is when fights get nerfed, newbies don't struggle, and when a bit of challenge comes by they're unprepared to tackle it. As people have said, they don't need to one shot these.
