    What a ridiculous post lol. These abilities and spells are yours and are therefore always readily available for you to use. It's no different to FFXI having a list of all the spells you could use and nobody complained that you couldn't remove those (unless you're a BLU).

    Wrong. In 11 you wrote your macros for the skills/spells you wanted. Did you write a macro for every single ability in the game? Or did you write in the ones that were useful?

    Is that your answer? How am I trying to troll you when I'm saying something that's glaringly obvious and you just choose to ignore me? I have my first bar set up (right now, when I have waaaaay more spells than I have slots) with spells I use. My other bars have miscellaneous spells/abilities which I have all macroed in, so that there's no need for scrolling through the bars in the heat of battle. When my TOTAL skillset is reduced to 25 (including other classes' skills), I won't even have to think too hard on what to equip per class.

    I'm going to sleep now. Filled my quota of two movies before snoozing. Goodnight.

    Irrelevant. The point remains why should we have to have skills on any bar that we aren't going to use? There are a ton of pug skills that are extraordinarily situational. There are a ton of skills all over the board that are situational. Again I say: there is zero reason to be adamant about having them there. None whatsoever.

    If it's a question of always having access to class abilities... the answer is menus.

    If it's an issue of not wanting specific abilities on my action bar because of personal preference the answer again is menus.

    The notion of FFXI with it's abilities that you can't choose or dictate is a poor one... because almost everyone ended up using macros, and they could choose what abilities they macrod in and where they were placed... completely customizable. Thieves weren't forced to have steal and mug macros that if they didn't want to use were placed in some out of reach area. Mages weren't forced to have a macro for every spell they knew.

    I will point out that Doctor Mog's complaint seems to stem from some pretty severe OCD and SE really shouldn't be forced to accomodate that... but at the same time, the action bar in it's current form is a horrible mechanic and needs to be altered.

    I believe the point is no one really knows how skills are going to change, if at all. Fact is, they are being condensed. This is a two post release of information, so please, before doing baseless assumptions (which everyone here has been doing, including myself for and against) please wait until we have the full details. The only thing you are doing is jumping the gun, like always across these boards.

    Yes, the wait and see mind-set works in this case because we are no longer dealing with the previous Producer or Director. We are getting the information twenty days in advance so the Dev team has the time to implement feedback, very unlike how the previous team worked, so your "This attitude is what got us in this mess" argument has not weight.

    I don't understand how can you say this confidently without knowing how they are going to condense and streamline abilities. Sure they might leave them all the same with the same effects, just removing the duplicate ones, but I'm not going to sit here and ask myself why they are doing this without looking at the rest of information released next week. Just lke yourself, I will say it again: Everyone who is complaining about this, without the complete info of these changes, is complaining without reason.

    And you are losing... what exactly? Regardless of what is on the bar, the game is only going to allow 10 cross class abilities.
    The only real question here is what are you losing by always having these abilities set, and the answer is, in all situations, nothing. Why are you complaining again?
