Veteran Rewards rework (All prior requirements reduced)

You know I would be fine if they would have cut down the days a bit for the last two because four years are a long time but to cut them down that much? They also could have given people who reach a certain amount of days a voucher where they could have chosen one of the outfits as a rewards, thus if you are not interested in the Cloud one you could get the Squall one earlier..this would give people the chance to get their favorite costume a lot earlier but still leave the big amount of days in total if you want all of them.

I mean they are called Veteran rewards for a reason and should have been a thank you for staying with the game for a long time..isnt that what should be important? That people stay? Now with the new kind of rewards you can just pay a certain amount of days in a certain amount of time and get it..there is no real reward for sticking with it all the time...

Seems like it was bad idea to even have a veteran reward in the first place, seeing how obsessed people are about pixels nowadays it would have been better idea to give nothing. I got rank 14 few days ago and i simply don't care if they get easier or even removed, there are more important things in this game that needs attention than some lameass veteran rewards. Entitled cunts killed WoW so do a favor and quit before you kill this game as well.

Yes it was a mistake to have veteran rewards. It is a mistake in every game because people get butthurt if they get changed or are faster to archieve. It always seems that people don't pay their subs because they like the game, its more that they pay the sub to get outfits that will gather dust in their retainer.

I bet 90% of the people who complain about that don't even use that stuff in any way.

The answer to that isn't to not have them, it's to not change them. If people want the rewards to be easier to get, then make the next ones easier to get, while leaving the current ones alone. They missed a great opportunity when SB released to have a new set based on time subscribed since June 20th of this year, or time subscribed since adding SB to your account. (Well, I guess they could still do that based on any date, but release of an expansion would have been the obvious one.)

Since you seem to be one of the people who are not amused. Do you even use the outfits? I personaly don't care if someone gets an outfit, for what it took me quite a while to get it, now faster. For me the rewards are a free little extra on top of my sub that i pay for the game that i like and not something for what i pay my sub.

Hmm.... I never even received the falcon mount though, despite being subbed non stop since June 2015. I don't really want it so it doesn't bother me yet but what if they add something I DO want. I don't like this new method bc apparently it's flawed and I most likely won't receive any of the items.

I have not gotten mine either and my husband got his today. Only reason I can conclude for me is that I got a character to level 30 (one I created for the Lalafell March) and when I was to be billed they added time due to meeting that requirement. If that Is the case it's rather unfair since I have been subbed this entire time.

The Wild Rose Cuirass has been my NIN glamour ever since I got it a couple years ago. (I found it coordinates really well with the Ninja AF1 pants, boots, and gloves, at least the male version of them.) A few of the other pieces I wear from time to time on an alt. Some I've never used.

And I don't care when other people get them, either. It doesn't affect what I've got, and I've got all of them except the falcon mount.

(If they hadn't included "Newly created characters on the same account will continue to receive any items for which they were eligible prior to the update", then I'd be upset about this. But they did, so I'm not.)

I still don't see any reason for people to get upset because of this minor stuff. Its common that these changes are made its the same as if people would complain that primal mounts drop more often or can be bought with tokens after a while, but there its fine because they have a advantage. Maybe people who farmed them before the nerfs should complain all the time too then.

I would not be be suprised to see the campaigns return or sold at the Mog Station next year.

I think it will show up in the achievement shop at some time instead of the mog shop.
