Pretty sure I was just advocating to be understanding to each other and understand that people choose to spend their money many different ways so don't choose to be rude and criticize a total stranger about how they spend their money. It'd be like if you went into a store IRL to buy...I dont know, say this game! FFXIV! and some other customer walks up to you like "you're going to buy THAT?" then starts laughing hysterically and claiming how ridiculous you are for wasting your money on it.

People say "you have no right" all the time when dealing with situations where people are crossing the line into doing things that are very rude albeit not against the law. So in the end it is a figure of speech and just my opinion.

Not really seeing the problem here, and I say this as a "veteran". Hell I even benefit and get my Squall outfit earlier now. This is just more "grrrrrr I spent time on this and now these young'ins get it earlier!!!!". You didn't do anything. You stay subbed to a game you played.

Looks like a lot of players only sub for a carrot on a stick, not to play the actual game. Come on. I never saw a player with the Squall outfit and thought "Oh man, this gus must have been playing for so long and must be so good and cool." The epeen and entitlement in this thread.

I mean, what was the point of staying subbed for 4 years if I'll get all the same bonus stuff with paying 1/4 of that sum now?

I don't know? Are you saying you stayed subbed to an mmo just for the bonuses (which just happens to be digital items, something your fictional character can wear, that are also just cosplay clothes originating from other fictional characters)? It sure sounds like it. That's pretty sad if you ask me.
