I'm honestly baffled how you don't see why a gap closer, 100 pot OGCD, TEN times enmity multiplier, 15 sec CD skill is better than a 50 pot 20 sec OGCD stun that only works on junk content. Just wow. It has some of the same 'nuance' as a filler in your rotation as fracture (gauge dump instead of a GCD dump, extra punch fitting it into your zerk/unchained/inner release windows etc for minor damage boosts). It actually does BOTH of those abilities jobs better as an OGCD damage buff and as a rotation adjuster to min max a little more, AND has practical fight use as enmity spike and gap closer. Just wow.

There are new skills. The jobs have taken new directions. Cut out some junk actions like frac. Gotten some new cool ones. They weren't all home runs but some definitely are, and jobs are still being tweaked for better functionality as we speak. I just don't get the rose tinted obsession with old skills. Fracture was not some high skill cap fun machine. It was a lame skill this very forum made countless threads about how bad it was. Now that its gone it is the missing link to fun and strategy? Cant we just enjoy the new skills and the new adjustments that are already in the pipe and stop dwelling on mediocre skills like scourge and fracture? 1 button dots aren't really worth crying over.

I get that some skills were beloved. Some will be missed. Some new skills are great, some fell flat. But can we at least acknowledge that every old skill isn't worth keeping and some of the new ones are vast improvements. Things aren't perfect but at least give credit where credits due. It takes away from the legit complaints when we complain about EVERYTHING unjustly.
