In ARR we created our own, personal, sentient weapon, a partner to go with us through fire, in HW it was discarded to skip the first grindy step towards a new personal, sentient weapon to go with us through everything...til SB where I assume it will be discarded again to skip a step in a grindy quest to forge a new personal, sentient weapon to go with us...wait...?
