Why is Lakshmi always a goddamn dumpster fire?

It's not even the ex version, I got normal for trial roulette just now with only 2 people who said they were new. One was my cohealer so I didn't even really care about that, there is so little damage going out he was kind of irrelevent.

In the end we cleared when I just stopped raising. I don't lile to do that but it was a choice about where my MP was better spent. Just the tanks, a BRD and me.

I get it, the blue button is new. Maybe, since it's new, you try clicking it though? I don't even mean to sound patronizing it's just not complicated enough to die to the same thing over and over and over and not think that you may be at fault.

I'm no expert on BLM rotation, but isn't the ARR rotation still fairly close in damage? Assumming it's being executed properly, I mean, and obviously still maintaining enochain/using foul and such.

Not to excuse someone for their self proclaimed laziness or anything, mind you.

Doing DD run for GC. It was fine besides the few wipes for some reason. And then I realized the whole time the other BLM was using the AOE thunder on single targets the whole time...I was the other BLM. reeeeeeeeee read tooltips lol

At some point later in the 3.x cycle i crunched the numbers on this actually. I was trying to completely explain to someone what was lost when you had Eno drop and had to go back to the lvl 50 rotation. At the time i came up with the lvl 50 version being roughly 70% of the damage of the full rotation. Since then some potencies have changed(and you were talking about using Eno and just not the 4 tier spells so it wouldnt be a straight comparison anyway), so it might be as high as 75%. Ive done "lazy BLM" before(not proud of it, but having all my buffs available for a boss opening was sometimes prioritized over other pulls), but now that i need Eno up constantly so i can get my Fouls in, theres no reason not to pepper in some F4s when you arent in an AoE pull(and to finish final targets in said aoe).

Imagining how much time and MP was wasted on casting all those Regens makes my head hurt. That time and MP could've been spent on DPSing instead.
