Flash 2, ranged the other. In any case, in PRE 60 content I have never had a problem with prepull regens as a tank.

This is how it works: If you have regen and you go towards a scattered bunch of mobs, you know you'll need either 2 or 3 moves to aggro everything. With a regen on you, the moment you aggro the first monster, the rest will aggro the healer, queueing an attack on it. So, until the trash monsters don't resolve that queued attack, they will move towards the healer and then go back to the tank.

Pre-pull regens are fine.

They're fine if you notice the regen because at that point you pull differently than usual. If you don't notice, you end up running back.

Also if we could stop blaming tanks because healers feel the need to cast a recovery spell when you're not taking damage pre-pull, that'd be nice, thx.

This is not ok. i130 main (and accs) in a 61-62 dungeon.

Just got the Vault for leveling roulette with a burger king leveling his SCH. We wiped on the last boss, and the SCH made a slightly ill-mannered comment about how he has ran vault a dozen times on his 70 WHM and has never seen a group wipe on the last boss. We then proceeded to wipe a 2nd time, and the SCH now started going off in a much more uncivil way about how we need to learn to play. However, it actually seemed to me that we were doing a good job of staying out of AoEs, and it was just that healing was very weak, so I decided to look through the log and see if I could figure out what was going on. After a quick review of the log, I noticed one rather glaring issue, and I made one simple comment in party chat: "SCHs heal better if they use a pet". At that very instant, the burger king SCH magically shut up, and we easily cleared the boss on the next attempt.

You not having aggro in those dungeons is on you and you alone.

It's the same thing as a DPS attacking a mob mid-pull and taking hate (which is also NOT ok). People like you are the precise reason I have a cancel regen macro.
If a healer continues to cast it even after I've mentioned not to, then that's just being a douche canoe.

Lol people wipe all the time on Ser Charibert, it's a very heal intensive fight and SCH especially has trouble healing with lower gear (and while leveling your gear normally sucks).

Also what is a Burger King SCH?

Queued up for a lvling roulette with my DRK. Got Brayflox's normal. Always a good a time

The run was super smooth, no snags at all.

The reason I'm posting is because on the second boss fight (where Brayflox comes flaying in with a pieste or w/e on his tail) the BLM we are running with, waits for me to get aggro on both beasts and then.... sleeps the Inferno Drake!!!! Then the party dps's down the small drake before the big dude wakes up... etc etc the fight is won.

Blown away by this simple yet ingenious move i exclaim to this BLM "I dont know how many times I've run this dungeon, but that is the first time I've ever seen that applied"

They respond "Well that just kinda makes sense for this fight right?"

DUTY FINDER IS NOT ALWAYS THAT BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats cool I wouldn't expect sleep to work on bosses at all.

That and when you DO sleep something, you KNOW someone's going to hit it straight away.

Pre-pull regens are fine. If you can't catch aggro with a regen on you, that's on you bud. Definitely in 50/60 dungeons.

Imma need to disagree, it has the potential to be fine but can screw with some large pulls and is definitely not an encouraged practice regardless of level.
