    How's your gear? I had full Nomad set and it gave me no trouble. And I think I used Holy and Thin Air and killed the small adds pretty quickly.

    This was the strategy I ended up employing. The Gargoyle has a cleave that will obliterate your health bar no matter how much you have and if you Thin Air, holy spam all the portals it's just him. You have just enough holy shit buttons to cover the cleave spam and still bring him down. He dies quick enough, he just spams that cleave like attack so often you are forced to pull out all the stops to stay alive.
