[Feedback] The Savage raid is way too stingy

My only real gripe with raiding loot is getting gear for jobs no one is playing. We get a ton of maiming and aiming and maiming gear. We don't have any jobs that actively use that gear (sans v4s- we bring a bard for that fight). I had hoped that at least raids would have been attuned to composition useful gear, but leaving it to RNG to decide what could benefit ('cause it's possible to still get healer/tank belts 7 weeks in a row- thanks Midas).

Waiting 8 weeks to get 1 drop is nice on paper, but when you stop and consider how long it may take certain groups to clear things to begin with, it's a really long goal. World firsts and servers firsts and hardcore raiders will get their gear well beforehand. It's the other people that are really ultimately hurt by such a huge time lock.

I've wondered since 2.0 why melee dps get to be special snowflakes with their gear yet all healers tanks and casters have to share. Either make all classes share with someone else or make no one share, I don't care which (though the latter would get backlash).

Normally I dislike RNG, but personally I don't mind the stingy drops. I think there's a target audience for that, the elite crowd that want to be the first to be decked out in the best of the best. It's not like you need any of that gear for anything except the place that you get the gear for in the first place. That same audience needs that ridiculous grind just to stay the flood of complaints that there's nothing to do, and no challenge to be had.

The rest of us just wait a few months and nab the same gear within a couple of weeks that the pros spent months edging ever closer to carpal tunnel for. Like, I wouldn't necessarily want to stamp ~my~ name on that kind of system, but it provides some amount of entertainment to watch in action.

that's totally not the topic of the threat nor the reason we are complaining about it, I think it's fair to say no one gives 2tons of ***** what others can get faster or not its simply is how it feels to progress currently if lucky you don't care but if you are not it becomes a frustrating wait gamble game despite doing it the same amount of times as everyone else. idk. currently I'm at 333 with body/feet/gloves 340 and 2 acc I haven't gotten a single upgrade and my bis is almost fully augmented allagan piece, so technically I've only gotten 2 out of 12 gear slots from savage from the past 2 month and I that's actually being lucky the books should just be more forgivable.

Um, yes it is. The topic of the thread is that the loot is stingy, my point is that I don't mind it being stingy, and then I list why. It's not off-topic just because you disagree, lol?
