[Feedback] The Savage raid is way too stingy

I think witht the book token sytem it's fine everyone should get look with the passing weeks, the thing that I do not like however is how extreme some are, 1 and half month to get a guaranteed piece is a bit overkill considering sometimes you will need multiple of those, 1 month for a small upgrade is also overkill the fact that you can't get or exchange v1 books for anything after you get all the desire loot also seems like a waste and if your static is stuck at v3 good luck getting those sweet pants a month and a half later after you clear. Yes the system is there to keep content alive but In my opinion it's a bit extreme without luck you will easily spend months gathering books before SE kick you in the balls and free hand upgrades to every soul with the upcoming 24-man raid but you YOU! oh no, YOU the one doing the content you better spend a month of hardcore raiding if you want this little piece of upgrade no excuses.

I'll understand if 24-man was similar but no, one week guaranteed drop feels good seen all your effort go away. "but it's the challenge not the loot" yeah the first 27 times were fun after that it's all about loot.

-Odd patches like 4.1 are "catch-up" patches for those who don't raid savage, or whom are stuck on the later floors an opportunity to get more gear to help clear easier.

-Savage raiders get 3 months of exclusive 340 upgrades. You don't raid? Tough luck. You don't make it past O3S? You are stuck at a i330 weapon until the catch-up patch extreme primal.

reflecting on this I have to agree that if my as a whole team including myelf were better we would had the pants from V3 and even if we cleared v4 we probably all would be fully geared up by now... I guess I was seenig it on the wrong side, if we aint clearing it we don't derver it simple and clear. If we want it we have to work harder. thanks thechnole you actually help me clarify my anger and confusion.

changing my previous thoughs on this threat I belive the system as it's fine as it's you want it you gotta work for it, if the team clears the floors you have more chances of loot per week and more tokens to get your gear. As for 24 man free drops Technole is right, it might be free loot for non-raiders but a help boost for those stuck in withing the current floors.

So basically you're saying SE should lower the cost of books required? I meant it might hold true for the gears but upgrade token will be available via 24 man tokens and hunt logs later on.

that's exactly what I said yes, like many others pointed out, on paper it sounds good. on practice is horrible and without luck like some others round here you will spend months without upgrades. also on the topic of 24-man I was talking about my personal opinion on SQ free handing upgrades but making us spend 4 weeks to get 1 and even more if you haven't cleared v3 yet you aren't getting any left side upgrades. so why make it so strick to get from the actual hard content if you are going to give it free for the easy one doesn't make sense to me.

It's easier to get the upgrade tokens from the easier content because they are added later on as a catch-up option. Perhaps SE can adjust the cost via datalog when the alternative methods are added? In the end the datalogs are meant to be a fail-safe backup in case of bad RNG, the main source of gear is still from the chest. Then there's the "necessary evil" of RNG because of the sub-nature for a MMO game. However, I do agree that the cost of datalogs could use some fine tweaking. It does feel a little off-balance at the moment imo.

that's the problem as far as I know since tokens has been a thing they've never updated the amount of logs required to get 1 upgrade from savage but yet you get free upgrades from a snooze fest 24-man, I don't mind them giving free handouts (i actually do, to me it's unnesesary) but if they are going give it out for free why makes us wait a month either reduce the logs amount for upgrades or increase the runs required from 24 man for upgrades.

Normally I dislike RNG, but personally I don't mind the stingy drops. I think there's a target audience for that, the elite crowd that want to be the first to be decked out in the best of the best. It's not like you need any of that gear for anything except the place that you get the gear for in the first place. That same audience needs that ridiculous grind just to stay the flood of complaints that there's nothing to do, and no challenge to be had.

The rest of us just wait a few months and nab the same gear within a couple of weeks that the pros spent months edging ever closer to carpal tunnel for. Like, I wouldn't necessarily want to stamp ~my~ name on that kind of system, but it provides some amount of entertainment to watch in action.

the topic of the thread is disscussing savage progression and the amount of savage drop you normally get to gear up, what you were talking about about is you think the system is only for elitist that wants to show off and are a bunch of complainers mocking a crowd for no good reason finilazing that you don't care (because I believe you don't even do savage) to wait because you will get later from 24-man. you are not off-topic because I dissagree you just are.

the thread if for people that are actually doing savage atm or those edgy elitist as you call them not for those who will wait for 24 man and you will actually need to gear for (ultimate) mode comig up.
